Each year, NadaMucho.com joins with local punk rock luminary Mike Spine to host a night of classic 80’s metal covers. Over the years we’ve watched local musicians perform songs by AC/DC, Danzig, Dio, Hammerfell, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar, Metallica, Sepultura, Turbonegro, Van Halen and more.
This year the show was moved to the Rendezvous Jewelbox Theater in Belltown after the Comet Tavern closed unexpectedly. Here’s a photo recap of the show. Visit our Flickr page for additional pictures from the evening.
Tribute band Maiden Seattle kicked things off with a blistering set of Iron Maiden covers.
Thunderpouch went all out with the Nordic apparel for their set, which featured songs from Maiden, Priest, Hammerfell and Manowar.
We found Waldo.
At the Spine did their customary set of Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, heavy on crowd participation.
Everything’s always better when the burlesque girls show up.
Hand of Doom, another proper tribute band, closed the evening out with a great set of Black Sabbath songs.
