Show Preview The Neil & The Damage Done Thursday April 1, 2010 The Crocodile
NadaMucho.com is pleased as punch that the Neil Young tribute night we debuted to a sold-out Sunset Tavern last year will happen again April 1. We've moved the event to the larger confines of The Crocodile and turned over booking and production to the experts, our friends at Village Bicycle Productions.
Adding a bit of local music legacy and maturity to the affair will be Christy McWilson, she of the legendary Picketts and current musical cohort of Dave Alvin.
A newly formed, permanent Neil tribute band formed for last year’s debut – now dubbed The My My Hey Heys – will close the evening with a full 50 minutes of Crazy Horse-era rockers. The band is lead by veteran Northwest rocker Mike Spine (At the Spine, Global Seepej Records) on guitar and vocals, joined by Swiss/Argentinean guitar wizard Martin Flowers drummer Jeff Gall (Annunaki) and Aaron Semer (The Plains) on bass and backing vocals. We’ll be slowly announcing the track list this month via our Twitter feed, so check us out at www.twitter.com/nadamucho. (0) Comments |
