Last night I got my copy of Marilyn Scott's new cd "Every Time We Say Goodbye".  I'm adding this to my collection along with Diana Krall, Ella, Billie, etc... and I highly recommend it.

Seriously, her voice singing "Autumn in New York" makes me want to move back east.

Are there any new releases this summer you’ve listened to that you can recommend?

We got this CD over at www.seattlesubsonic.com to review and they are good! I'm bummed I missed their show last week at Tost. The lead singer sort of sounds like Michael Hutchence of INXS, sort of, right?

The Celebrity Orphans - The Celebrity Orphans

Self Released (2008)

If sex came in tubes of toothpaste, The Celebrity Orphans squeeze out 39 minutes worth on their new self-titled album. Up-tempo rocksters like "Hello," "You Got Nothin," and "Let Me Tell You" are ferociously danceable with BC Campbell and company telling the entire world just who's doing the messin' around now.

Take a listen t. . .
