I just don't get Eddie Izzard. I have tried to watch several time. Bores me.
Jon Stewart Chris Rock - Bigger and Blacker (he ahs a new one coming out next month. Very excited) Bernie Mac is great Dave Chapelle HBO special Jerry Seinfeld - I'm Telling You for the Last Time (I have mentioned it before but the documetary or whatever he put out called Comedian was fascinating)
I hope Gallagher was on the list. The Sledge-omatic baby!

i forgot about Bernie Mac. he and Cedric are the only two worth watching on that black comedy tour thingy. hughley and that steve guy make me want to tear my eyeballs out.
also forgot that we recently watched the white collar comedy tour and it was actually really funny, and spawned our obsession with saying "Get 'er done!" even before Fubar.
it makes me sad that you don't like izzard. he is brilliant.

And I wish that you could see that Jon Lovitz is a misunderstood comedic maestro.

i have a new respect for colin quinn since his new show on comedy central rules, but having him as the 56th best stand-up ever is just ridiculous. he was AWFUL when he did the news on SNL - could barely read the que cards.

Chris Rock's new special Never Scared was so so. Not nearly as funny as the last two.
His rantings on marriage are priceless though.

David Cross, from the TV show Mr. Show, has a great stand-up CD out called "Shut Up, You Fucking Baby!" It's the best comic performance I've heard in awhile. It's so funny it makes my colon flutter.

Cross' new CD on Sub Pop is great too, as is the tour DVD he put out last year.
Anyone been watching Last Comic Standing? Greatest reality TV show ever. Just caught last year's on Comedy Central and have been watching the new ones Tuesday nights with Momma and Baby. Funny shit. Was glad to see that whiny little bitch queen Ant was eliminated last night.

Boss, who was the young comic dude we were watching at your place in Kent? he was wearing all black. A younger guy. He seemed pretty good.

that's Dane Cook, and he's fucking brilliant. we had an interview set up with him last year but we never did it. would like to have more stuff about comedians on the site. http://www.danecook.com/. does anyone know if there are any local comedy clubs worth checking out? every once in awhile the event before our monday rendezvous show is a stand-up thing. the people seem so nervous and its felt tense in the room when i've checked it out. getting up there with just a mike and trying to make people laugh has got to be one of the hardest jobs on the planet.
