S'up bitches?

After 3 days of absolutely boring nothingness, I arrived in Alpine, Tx last night around 10 pm. Saw Russ and his charming fiance Tami at his house last night, then went round to his folks' house, wherein Russ' dad Alec proceeded to drunkenly keep me up until 4 in the morning talking about everything. Plans are in place for a return jaunt to Vegas. This would be the first time for daddy and he is looking forward to it. Since it's only my second day here, I really have nothing to report, except that it should be a federal law that whenever you cross the Texas state line, everyone must be required to listen to "Timebomb" by Old 97's.

Congrats on the safe arrival. I expect a full report on the scoring of your trip, complete with albums played in each geographic region and the impetus behind each selection. Tell Russ we love him.
