Last night I finally watched Anchorman. It was great, of course. (9/10)

Also, watched Employee of the Month with Matt Dillon, Christina Applegate and Steve Zahn. It was surprisingly better than I expected, with the exception of the point in the movie when Zahn's character referred to a woman's ass as a "fart locker." Actually, now that I think about it, Zahn's character practically made the movie. (6/10)

Sean, you'd be proud of me that I was going to rent Shaun of the Dead, but it was out.

Dodgeball is very funny. (8/10)

I also just watched Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy. I really liked both - about as good of a hollywood espionage thriller as i've seen since the first mission impossible, which ruled. it also seems like they could keep making these with different plots and keep it relatively fresh, a la the james bond series. Identity (8/10); Supremacy (8/10)

I watched Cellular. Basically exactly what you'd be expecting. It entertained me for 90 minutes, but barely. (3/10)

I thought Cellular was really good, at least as far as predictable Hollywood thrillers with corny endings go. Jamie Foxx rules. (7/10)

Yuck. I thought it was mediocrity at best.

In other news, I finally got around to watching Season one of Arrested Development that I'd borrowed from A-Law.

Two words: Fucking hysterical.

I can't believe I waited so long to watch this show.

Anchorman -

How any movie with Will Farrel, Luke Wilson, Fred Willard, Jack Black, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn could be this fucking horrible is beyond me. I hate it when movies have funnier previews than the film itself. Terrible writing, terribly done, and just not that funny. Boo. - (3/10)

Open Water -

Great little indie film. Super well-done, very unique and very interesting the way it was filmed. Highly recommend for you lovers of anxiety-inducing thrillers. - (8/10)

I wasn't that impressed with Open Water, except for the part that it was very indie and done with almost no budget. It drug along for me.

Recent Rentals for Sonja:

Saw - Gross, totally disturbing and almost made me throw up. It was GREAT! (8/10)

The Notebook - I was embarrassed for anyone to accidentally see me rent this movie, as I typically don't like the chick flicks. It did make me cry, though, don't tell anyone! (8/10)

Poolhall Junkies -

I obviously need some help in picking movies. You'd think you couldn't go wrong with a movie about pool starring Christopher Walken, but you'd be wrong. This was uneven, poorly-written and just plain not good. Seemed like it was made by people who had never made a movie before. Boooo. - (4/10)

If I had seen any movies worth telling any one about I would.

I saw The Terminal for some reason.   That was boring as all get out.

I just keep watching Hellboy and Dodgeball.

Maybe you should branch out into the world of porn.

I'm sorry I got all drunk and passed out on your copy of Varsity Blues Snizz.

Was that the same night I ate half of a block of your Tillamook cheese, Costanza style?
