Well I haven't bought much in the last 7-8 years. Geez maybe make that 10 years now that I think of it.   Love comics but just don't the income or willpower to get caught back up.

Awhile back though I was on a Buffy kick.  I believe that was a Dark Horse comic.

  I used to collect

  Marvel -
  The Avengers
  X-men
  New Mutants
  Spider-Man
  Power Pack
Master of Kung Fu  (Shang Chi kicked ass)
  West Coast Avengers

Marvel also put out out great mini series while I was collecting.  My favorite was Longshot.  That's way back.

  DC-
  All Star Squadron
  The Outsiders
Captain Carrot and His Amazing Zoo Crew  (I was young OK)

I love Art Adams art so longshot was the shiznit.
All Star Squadron and the Infinity inc. were the only D.C. comics I read back in the day.
Anyone that was a fan of any of the DC characters should check out the mini series Idenity Crisis this is by far the coolest take on modernizing the hero villian relationship.

I have a hard time reading comic books. I hate having to jump around. I don't like the fact that my attention is divided between the visual elements and the written. I prefer books with no pictures, or comics without words.
