Attention Ninja heads, Sixtoo peoples, and Blockhead fans:

SIXTOO, DJ SIGNIFY, and BLOCKHEAD
LIVE!
TUES SEPT 7 @ Chop Suey

The new kids on the block is hitting the tour trail. And I'm not talking about Joey, Jordon, Donnie, Danny, or Jon.  I'm talking about Sixtoo and Blockhead, two of the freshest signings at Ninja Tune (www.ninjatune.net).  Joining them is DJ Signify, long time Sixtoo friend/collaborator and Lex recording artist (check his recent release 'Sleep No More' at www.lexrecords.com).

Sixtoo & Signify will be joining up to present music from both of their vast catalogues. For this they'll be utilizing the help of P-Love (who you know as Kid Koala's long time touring partner, and for his collaboration on the Amon Tobin 'Remixes & Collaborations' record), and Matt Kelly (responsible for a lot of the live instrumentation on the new Sixtoo record).

This ain't your momma's live show.  It's a 4-piece live band set-up where everyone involved alternates between decks, samplers, rhodes, bass, stylophone, various effect units/pedals, megaphone, and last but not least, the shaker egg. It's all part of the master plan to continue the transition/melding from Sixtoo the hip-hop artist to Sixtoo the instrumental experimental/rock producer.

There will be visuals, there will be tightly rehearsed sets, there will be improvisations, there will be a stage loaded with talent... you really should go. What else are you doing that night, I mean really.

DO NOT SLEEP!

peace and much respect
