Check out
Her Majesty
by the Decemberists. It's a bit old, but thoroughly entertaining. Anyone who is a fan of "Cold Cold Water" by Mirah would love the opening track pirate song. arrrr!
Also a little Belle and Sebastian like... worth a listen, and the Seattle Public Library has a copy of it too... which is where I found it. I'm diggin' it.

that record got tons of hype. our canadian contributor munjumba loved it. i saw them live and they were kind of pretentious and annoying. they are like charles dickens if he were a band. a bit pretentious and wordy, but entertaining.
