Since we forgot to put movies on our year end list, I thought it'd be fun to discuss our favorite movies of the year.

Here are my top three:

1. Garden State
2. Napoleon Dynamite
3. Tie: Life Aquatic/The Incredibles

I didn't think it was as hard to choose this year, because I was mostly disappointed in the theatre fare of 2004.

Discuss.

My top 10 list of movies I really really WANTED to see but didn't get to would be easier to compute... however, barring the fact that "Eternal Sunshine..." is sitting at my home still unviewed, not to mention a whole mess of other movies that I really freakin' wanted to see... I give you the top 5!

1) Before Sunset
2) The Incredibles (BOMB Voyage!  HA!)
3) Finding Neverland
4) Saved
5) Spiderman 2 (cuz it freakin' ROCKED!  With that pow!  and the Wammo! and all that awesomeness!)

The list is... well... sadly commercial... considering the most independant release was put out by Warner Independant (which is kinda a funny concept to me).  but I've had a lack of movie watching funds this year...  my video top 5 would be far more interesting.

I liked Eternal Sunshine, but not as much as everyone else. Thought it was kind of boring and oddly paced, though very interesting. Sometimes great acting and an odd plot doesn't always equal genious. 7/10

I really didn't like Eternal Sunshine as much as everyone else, either. However, both Adam and Laura loved it and because they are so smart about stuff, I will watch ES again and see if it grows on me.

I forgot Kill Bill 2 came out this year, because it was so close to the beginning. I add that to my list........obviously.

Watch Eternal Sunshine after a messy breakup. Then you'll experience the genius. Trust me.

I watched Eternal Sunshine just this weekend.  It's knocked either "Saved" or "Spiderman 2" off of my list... not sure which one yet, but it's pretty awesome....  I highly recomend.

I hated Dogville, and noticed it's shown up on a few people's lists. What's up with that?
