So our dear hip hop friend at Okay Player (provayers of fine hip hop such as the Roots, Dilated Peoples and Talib Kweli) has started an online book club.  I doubt we'll see the Okay Player logo gracing the covers of New York Times best sellers a la Oprah or anything, but this is kind of a cool development for the always forward thinking hip hop crew.
They're reading Democracy Matters by Cornel West right now, and they just finished the fictional piece Life of Pi.
I myself will doubtfully be found talking on their online discussion, but I'll definately take recommendations based off their book choices.
