Expecting: "The Champion"
Due Date: September 1, 2005

Greetings Book Lovers!

Can you believe it's been almost three years since "Wrapped in Gray" was published? Me neither. And in case you were wondering, "Gee, does Todd have any other tricks up his tweed-jacket-with-leather-elbow-patch-sleeves?", the answer is yes. Emphatically, yes.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, "The Champion"

Pop Quiz

What do JK Rowling and Todd Bunker have in common?

A) They write novels.
B) Both have a new novel coming out this summer.
C) You can preorder either novel on Amazon.com RIGHT NOW.
D) All of the above.

If you chose "D", then you are correct.

Sadly, that's where any comparison between mega-author Rowling and indie publishing plebe Todd Bunker ends.

Some quick math.

-The cost of the new, ahem, "Harry Potter" book on Amazon: $17.99 (cover price $29.99)
-The cost of "The Champion" on Amazon: $14.95 (cover price...$14.95)
-Amazon offers free shipping for orders over $25.00.

Now I'm no accountant...not officially anyway, but if you ordered both together (and/or any other book for that matter), with the free shipping, you're basically getting your Potter fix PLUS "The Champion" for the cover price of the Potter book.

I'm just sayin'.

"The Champion" @ Amazon

More info to come as the blessed event draws near...

Todd

That's super, Todd. But what I'm really wondering about is whether or not you've received any more threats of bodily harm.

I did. I should send Max some flowers for plucking me out of obscurity. My website traffic has increased a ton as well.

So the title will actually relate to my life?  That's an interesting direction I hadn't considered.
