If you're starved for some roots rock/alt country...somewhere between the lines of Drive-By Truckers meets Dylan meets Jeff Tweedy plus something unquestionably orginal...y'all should head out to Chop Suey and make sure you catch Mayor West as the open for I Can Lick Any SOB in the House. Sure to please. So infectious you'll have to be treated afterwards. *Highly* recommend.

Do they rock? Wear big hats? Have a pedal steel? Hold their alcohol well?

There'll be hats, there'll be pedal and we'll rock you hard when we feel like it. Let the drinks flow freely. With the Riffbrokers and Mike D's boys, its going be some kind of ride.

Yes bobblehank, in fact, they do rock! :!:
And the band actually has a bobble head Hank Williams Jr. Doll in their practice room.
The are a band that pleases in so many ways eh?
Do check them out at Chop Suey 9/17.

Those of you who didn't make it out to the show last night at Chop Suey really missed out. Fantastic time and the music was fabulous.
I'm now officially a Mayor West fan, and for the record, I think I have a crush on Chris. Haha.

Sonja,
Stop you're making me blush. Wait, rock stars can't blush, forget I said that. Didn't see you all at the Oktoberfest, show went well. Maybe you didn't want to pay the 18 bucks to get in, which I can understand. Posted a few more show listings coming up in the calendar (10/2 at the Central and 10/10 at Conor Byrne in Ballard). Also, we hit the studio on 10/11. Expect the first Mayor West album out soon! Oh and Mr. Overlord, keep me posted on that Rendevous show with Hex. We have 11/7 and 11/15 booked already, but we all would love to do a show with you guys again.

My primary goal in life, love and career is to make men blush. You obviously don't know me well enough yet to realize.
