OK, it’s not officially the halfway point of the season, but since Arizona LOOKS TO BE easy money this week (if you type something in all caps it’s like knocking on wood), I’m putting in my predictions for the rest of the ‘Hawks season.

SEA v. ARZ 11/6 – If I recall Arizona beat us at least once last season, but this is a more confident Seahawks team this year, one that isn’t going to let this upset happen. Also, Engram returns this week to add air power to an offense that’s already ranked # 1.
SEA 35 – ARZ 17

SEA v. STL 11/13 – The Rams are always dangerous for the Hawks, and come off a big win against Jaxsonville last week and a bye this week. Seattle has the mental edge this season after beating the Rams in St. Louis. With that and homefield advantage, Seattle should hang on. Note to defensive line: Hit Bulger in left shoulder as much as possible.
SEA 24 – STL 20

SEA v. SAN 11/20 – This is a “confidence booster”, San Fran is as hapless on both sides of the ball as Seattle is hapful. Road game will keep it somewhat close.
SEA 42 – SAN 28

SEA v. NYG 11/27 – Giants handed the Redskins (who beat Seattle in OT earlier this season) their asses last weekend, but don’t look for the ghost of Wellington Mara to carry that madness through the rest of the season. This is a pretty even match, IF Seattle can get around the Giants’ defense. Going to be close. Homefield advantage should tip it.
SEA 24 – NYG 21

SEA v. PHL 12/05 – Philadelphia is struggling this season, but Seattle is notorious for blowing nationally televised games, particularly MNFB. Records won’t matter in this game, and this is the “should’ve won” game for the Hawks this year.
PHL 31 – SEA 28

SEA v. SAN 12/11 – WTF?!? game. By now Seattle will be 9-3, and smarting from the national humiliation. For reasons unknown, San Fran will roll into Qwest Field and handily manage the Seahawks, who will be looking at the post season. San Fran will have nothing to lose.
SAN 35 – SEA 17

SEA v. TEN 12/18 – The Titans are overmatched here, and even the homefield can’t save them. Game will be back and forth, fairly close for a good portion, but Seattle will school them in the 4th.
SEA 35 – TEN 20

SEA v. IND  12/24 – As much as I’d like to believe the Hawks are going to deliver a birthday win for yours truly, it’s unlikely they’ll beat the Colts, even at home. Possible, but not likely. Look for a lot of references to “post season preview” and how the Hawks are not quite “the caliber” as IND and other contenders.
IND 38 – SEA 14

SEA v. GBP 01/01 – Could be another WTF?!? game, particularly if Seattle has well since locked in a playoff spot, if not the division title. Seattle will prevail, only because the Packers are simply awful this year.
SEA 17 – GBP 14

Final Record – 11/5

Anybody care to comment?

There's nothing I love more than some chatter about my favorite boys in blue.  I miss them terribly and only get to see them every once in a while.  I still don my no. 8 every Sunday though.  I feel your optimism, but I would consider myself more cautiously optimistic.

All that being said, the mighty Hawks will again swoop down upon the hapless NFL and grip their dead, lifeless carcasses in their steely blue talons.  The blue apocolypse is coming, NFL, and you have only begun to feel it.

Well considering they went 9-7 last year, and didn't look nearly as together, two more games doesn't seem so much a stretch. They could even go 12-4, which would be some sort of miracle. Or 10-6, which seems the likeliest scenario, esp. if they bench the first string for the Packers game in the likely event of them having the division locked up.

Or they could finish @ .500.

I like to sit at home and quietly speak the words Lofa Tatupu over and over again.

After his dad, Mosi Tatupu,  retired  I never thought I would get to say say Tatupu again.

   Hawks are going 11-5.

That'd be like having a temp win employee of the year, Snizz. Talk about insult to injury though.

Yeah, I did come pretty close on the score last weekend, wow. I'm sure that's the one and only time. I'm pretty confident about the final record though. I may have to rethink that Philly game unless they get some sort of miracle win streak going. Even on a Monday night.

Used up and spit out!  How will the Hawks survive without Mr. Urban?

I guess D-Jack will be a decent replacement when he comes back in a week or two.

Well, my prediction was pretty close until they scored that last touchdown with a minute and change to go. I'll take an emphatic win over the Rams instead though.

Do I have to point out that I called the score exactly this week?

Craziest game ever.

Yeah, but I had to pay off the refs:

"The league contacted the Seahawks on Monday, and said both of the Giants' touchdown catches should have been overturned. Jeremy Shockey didn't get both feet down on his second-quarter catch before Marquand Manuel knocked the ball free, and Amani Toomer didn't get both feet in-bounds on his fourth-quarter touchdown that allowed the Giants to tie the score with 1:59 left."
