Though your prognostications have been thus far flawless, I am pleased you botched this one.  Even though the Eagles were depleted, what a win!  For once, the national spotlight didn't blind them.  I close with the little known Seahawk fight song:

Go Seahawks go
All the way to the Super Bowl
Fly high and fly free
Crying Seahawk victory
Go! Go! Go!

Go Seahawks go
Our hearts are strong and true
Go Seahawks go go go
We love you Seahawk blue

Oh man, speaking of Seahawks songs, here's an awful latecomer:

SeahawkSong

Crappy Casio + Corny lyrics/vocals + Sound effects = Lame

It can't hold a candle to the Seahawks song from 1984 set to Peter Schilling's 1983 hit "Major Tom".

Watching Curt Warner
Turn the corner
In the end zone
It's so Amazing

That's not the one with titled "Lockeroom Rock," sung mostly by linebacker Michael Jackson, is it?  All I remember is the chorus: "Cause the Blue Wave is on a roll."

Well, The Blue Death has proved me wrong again. Being wrong has never felt so right, however. Wow.

Shabs, I don't remember that song, or whether the Schilling tune was even issued on cassette. i just remember taping it off of the radio.

Hawks v. Colts

  Jim Sorgi v. Seneca Wallace.

Itula Mili might even get to play in this one.

Only if the Hawks can tie up playoff homefield this weekend.

And now, a prayer:

Dear God,

Please let Hasselback's throws fly straight and true. Give Shaun Alexander's feet the strength and guidance to find the first down line and end zone. And let thine divine defense, which has held its last two opponents to 3 points total, do thy work.

And also, a pox on da Bears.

Amen.
