Please take a listen to our music and let us know what you think.

The recording was done completely by me recorded, mixed and produced at my house with Adobe Audition 2.

Mastered by Mark Guenther of Seattle Disk Mastering (www.seattlediskmastering.com).

So here are some stats and additional info about the recordings.

Software: Adobe Audition 2
Sound card: MOTU 828 firewire
Computer: Dell XPS M170 (laptop)
Intel Pentium M 2.00ghz
798Mhz, 1.00 GB of RAM

mics:
on the drums:
overheads: 2x MXL 991
snare: Shure SM 57
Bass Drum: Shure Beta 52A

Vocals, Sax, acoustic guitar: AKG Perception 200

all other Guitars: Shure SM 58

Bass: Shure Beta 52A

Players all songs:
Kyle Gleason – Vocals
Jon Angeles – Guitars, backing vocals on "Homeless"
Alex Zimmerman – Bass, Sax, Synth Strings on "Changed" (Yamaha Motif 6)
Aaron Montgomery – Drums

Players, select songs:
Kent Halvorsen - Rhoads (nord stage) on "Questions End", Organ (nord stage) on "Mommy Song", Synth (access virus) on "World Forgets"

TJ Berry - Guitar on "World Forgets" (solo and additional guitars on last chorus)

The recordings can be found at www.myspace.com/musicbydaybreak
1. Questions End
2. Changed
3. Mommy Song
4. Homeless
5. World Forgets

If anyone is interested in hearing them as full WAV files send me your address and I will send you a CD. I compressed the MP3's using itunes with the highest quality setting they would let me. "Mommy Song" I had to compress at a lower quality setting because myspace would not let me post a file over 10MB. I am not a big fan of MP3's for listening to music, in the case of our songs the compression seems to affect the cymbals the most, plus who knows what the myspace music player might be doing to them...?

look forward to your feed back!
