9:45 p.m. – Rising Los Angeles singer Billie Eilish is getting ready to come on stage. The crowd is chanting “Billie, Billie, Billie.” Teens are smashed together, passing out left and right. I’ve never seen so many young people energized and ready to see a performer take the stage.
I hadn’t heard Eilish’s music until a couple of weeks before the show, but to see these fans going crazy was a sure sign that I was in for a treat.
10 p.m. – Eilish hits the stage. The crowd is immediately singing along with her hit “My Boy.” She performs songs off her Don’t Smile at Me project, like “CopyCat” and “Ocean Eyes.” It’s dope.
I wasn’t able to get a lot of photos due to the fans passing out and getting smashed in the crowd (so sad to see) but enjoy the couple I managed to capture. Then check our her new single with Khalid, “Lovely,” and grab tickets for June 2 when she returns to the Northwest to perform at Marymoor Park in Redmond.
