Branden Daniel & Everybody Gets Laid is one of Seattle's few unabashed rock n’ roll bands. No pretense, no bullshit. They've teamed up with longtime proprietors of loud, guitar driven local rock Flotation Records for their third (and best) release – a five song EP they call "Self Titled."

The band has been steadily improving through frequent gigging the past few years, and Self Titled lets them fly a Stooges flag proudly alongside a Hendrix-ian crest.

The standout track is "Lonely, Low Down" a slow, creepy little number that highlight Daniel's prowess as a vocalist. Its one of those tracks that builds slowly and quietly to a big payoff that never materializes and leaves you wanting more. It’s a nice contrast to up-tempo blues rock of the EPs' other tracks. (7/10)
