Sebastian Bach Gives Us 2011’s Best Album…Cover
By Ben Allen
Don’t you think for a minute that 43-year-old singer Sebastian Bach has slowed down since the glory days of his seminal hair metal band, Skid Row, then you’re sadly mistaken.
Taking a break from his busy reality TV career, Bach is back in action and ready to rock. His new album, Kicking & Screaming, was released worldwide on September 27.
I haven’t mustered the courage to give the album a spin yet, but it sure does have a great cover. Just look at it. What the hell is going on here?
We’ve got Sebastian emerging out of some sort of hell fire while a multi-armed demon goddess grabs his hair and attempts to pull him back in. If that’s not enough, there’s also a couple of evil-looking elephants lurking in the background bearing Sebastian’s initials.
I really hope the recorded material on Kicking & Screaming lives up to the ass-kicking brutality of this album cover, but I gotta say I’m doubtful.
