14 Bands to Watch in 2014: #13 Mrs. Howl
Newly transplanted from San Antonio, this female-fronted trio uses high energy and showmanship to bring people to the front of the stage… even in Seattle.
Obvious comparisons to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs come to mind, but Mrs. Howl are not a carbon copy of the New York band. Where Karen O and company rely on City street smarts the Girls in Mrs. Howl bring a Cajun country flair to the pop/punk genre.
Watching the riffs explode from the fingertips of Laurel Dagger is exciting but when you add in the angst ridden vocals of Chelsea Dagger you have the penultimate band in our list of “14 Bands to Watch in 2014.”
Check out the other bands on Tim’s list of “14 to Watch in 2014” at:

This is the MOST arbitrary “watch list” ever. How bout suggesting/recommending real bands. Seattle is covered with good music and great bands and you pick the most unoriginal acts you can find – when did NADAMUCHO become a PAY FOR REVIEW site cuz that’s what it feels like. Maybe volunteer “writers” aren’t the best way to go.
