#41for2015Fest: Come See Your Next Favorite Band
Hey kids, we’re pleased as punch to announce the lineup for our first music festival, #41for2015 Fest, which celebrates many of the emerging local bands we’ve been covering over the current calendar year.
“Afro Nu-Wave” band Future Shock, electro-pop group Goodbye Heart and post-punk piano rockers Crazy Eyes are among the 19 acts performing at the festival, which takes place Wednesday, October 14 through Sunday, October 18 at Substation located at 645 NW 45th St, right where Fremont becomes Ballard.
According to long-time Nada Contributor and Substation Talent Buyer TBASA, “These are your next favorite bands… the ones you’ll hopefully see performing at Sasquatch and on KEXP in coming years as they realize their amazing potential and get more exposure.”
In addition to live music, the event will feature work from original artists in the club’s entryway during a happy hour from 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. before music begins. Visual artists displaying their work at the festival will be announced soon.
Tickets are $5 for guests arriving between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. during the happy hour art show and $8 per night beginning at 8 p.m. and after. Five day festival passes are available for just $30.
