Eric Tra – Post-hardcore rockers Alexisonfire and punk legends The Distillers joined forces this past weekend at Seattle’s Showbox SoDo on their final night of their short, but sweet, five show tour. As an added bonus, Sunday’s show also featured some familiar faces—Monsterwatch (#41for2017) a local hard rock outfit began the night with some brutal, dizzying riffs off of their Zot EP.
Eric Tra – In its eighth year running, Desert Daze returns to Lake Perris for a weekend of weirdness and sonic euphoria. Billed primarily as a psych rock music festival, Desert Daze embraces all kinds of musical tastes with artists and acts ranging from hip-hop to punk and beyond.
Eric Tra – Los Angeles based garage-psych rock trio, L.A. Witch, returned to Seattle this month for a near sold out show at the Crocodile opening for Vancouver, B.C.’s epic psych rock band Black Mountain.
Eric Tra – Bristol punk rockers, IDLES, polished off the end their U.S. tour with an epic performance filled with savage, raucous anthems and of course, crowd surfing galore.
Eric Tra – Once in a while you stumble across music that has certain infectious qualities. The kind that completely take over your body until you are possessed by the beat. Before you know it, you’re on the dance floor performing moves you never knew you had. It’s music like this that turn even the most steadfast wallflowers into dancing kings and queens before the opening track even finishes.
