TBLFAS #58: Shades of Static, Brad Yaeger & Wes Speight

TBASA’s Lo-Fi All Stars (#TBLFAS) is an intimate weekly concert series hosted by long time NadaMucho.com Contributor Tim Basaraba. The shows are free and take place at the Benbow Room in West Seattle beginning at 8 p.m. each Wednesday night. So get there early so you can get a seat up front close to the action.

Below are Tim’s thoughts on the artists performing January 28.

Shades of Static

SOS is a flashback to the 90’s, with great epic vocals and a strong rhythm section holding it down. I’m excited to see and hear the three grab acoustic instruments and kick the night off for us.

Brad Yaeger

Mr. Yaeger has been a mainstay for many a TBASA show and why not? His stories are parables and actual accounts of sorrow, loss and death that lend themselves beautifully to the solo acoustic format.

Wes Speight

Without Wes Speight Seattle was 1/2 as cool. As a community of friends and musicians his return from Nashville was like the second coming of Christ…if Christ was a brilliant songwriter with impeccable hair.
