All Hail Metalween 2014: Our 6th Annual Night of Classic Metal Covers

Hey Seattle-ites:

On Saturday, November 1 at the Skylark Cafe in West Seattle we’re holding our annual night of metal covers, Metalween, with our friend Mike Spine. The show features local musicians paying homage to the dark lords of rock of the 70s, 80s and 90s. This year we’ll hear classic songs by Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult, Dio, Faith No More, Motorhead, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and many other devil horn-inducing bands.

Performing are local acts Patrick Galactic, The Spider Ferns, Trentalange, The Valley, Metameric, At the Spine, The Chasers (featuring Kurt Bloch from The Fastbacks and Thee Sgt. Major and Mike Squires from Duff McKagan’s LOADED) and  Maiden Seattle.

This year we’ll even have a photo booth so you can get your picture taken in your best spiked hair and red leather pants. You don’t have to come in costume, but you’ll save a couple of bucks at the door if you do. Here are some pictures from Metalweens passed to get you in the mood.
