Andy Bookwalter – Jess and Todd were right, as usual. For years, my sister and brother-in-law (fellow NadaMucho.com contributor Todd Terry) have been praising this festival/anti-festival located in the wildlands of Carnation, Washington, despite the fact that we’re all too old and crotchety for such shenanigans.
Todd Terry – It is hard to believe that the summer of Barbenheimer is edging toward the sunset as Labor Day, and the much-anticipated return of Bumbershoot, looms on the very immediate horizon. In my role as citizen journalist, and honorary member of the Riptide Detective Agency, I will be taking some time away from thinking up clever tribe names for my Survivor Fantasy League to check out some culture on a Saturday in September.
Aubrey Oliver – It’s Sunday, the final day of the 2023 Capitol Hill Block Party, and I’m headed to the festival for the first time ever. I’m excited to see a few artists I’ve been listening to for quite some time now, especially Rico Nasty.
