When 4AD Records darlings Lemon Twigs made their Seattle debut at Barboza in January, it was an intimate affair. The crowd assembled for the Tuesday night show was small but committed, clearly fans of the Long Island teen brothers’ baroque-pop.
The set started with Brian D’Addario, the tamer of the two brothers, on guitar and vocals and the more energetic Michael D’Addario on drums. Halfway through they switched, putting Michael’s leg kicks and “I just don’t give a fuck” attitude on full display.
