I set out to photograph G-Eazy’s recent performance at the Showare Center near Seattle with a bit of skepticism. I’m not what you’d call a “big fan,” but so many of my friends are, so I decided to see if a live performance would win me over. And it worked.
The Oakland MC and producer puts on an engaging live show with a commanding stage presence and intriguing set design. The energetic crowd reacted accordingly, dancing and singing along with the performer’s tales of enduring the excess that comes with celebrity.
