What a Night!!! Jamila Woods came to Seattle in June, not only to perform but to achieve a singular goal: get everyone in the Crocodile crowd to ENJOY THEMSELVES.
The Chicago-based singer, songwriter and poet is out on tour and the vibe creates onstage is nothing short of amazing. It’s really nice to see a performer interact with the audience in such a warm way that everyone is just dancing and/or in a good place.
Wood’s new album Legacy, Legacy the newest recorded display of Woods’ songwriting and musicianship. It’s available now on all streaming platforms and the songs sounded great live.
Adding to the power of Woods’ performance was a full six-piece band behind her beautiful vocals. I took a few photos below.
