Photo Set: Mo-Wave 2014
Seattle’s Mo-Wave Festival, now in it’s second year, kicked off last weekend with an opening event at the True Art Gallery on Capitol Hill and a series of performances at Chop Suey. Our photo editor, Jim Toohey, took in the action at the highly-visual event, which was designed to “share premier queer talent to both celebrate and encourage “uniqueness as both a beacon and a shield.”
Programming concludes Friday, April 18 with performance art at the Velocity Dance Center.
