Memphis MC Young Dolph came to Seattle to start his “Role Model” tour and I must say…I’ve witnessed the floors rumble at the Showbox before but I have not felt them shake like they did on January 5. Everyone was having a good time and the vibrations of the bass were hitting and everyone was feeling the smooth, laid-back southern hip-hop vibe. OH MY GOODNESS!! Such a great show.
Dolph played most of the tracks of his most recent album, also called Role Model, as well as tracks from previous albums and mix tapes.
Here a few of my favorite photos from the evening. Also check out his video for “100 Shots” below, a song about an attack on his SUV that’s taken from the artist’s 2017 album Bulletproof.
