Today we share with you “Oh Bill,” by Alex’s Hand, who are, in my admittedly under-educated opinion, the perfect amalgamation of all that Beefheart and Zappa stuff your friends played you in college complete with random bursts of saxophone and electric guitar and softly chanted questions like “Is it because you beat your wife?” And just a touch of the best Faith No More humor.
Originally launched in Seattle in 2011, the band is currently based out of Berlin.
I’m always looking for things that are so obnoxious that they just dominate everything in their path, so I’m on board.
