Japanese Breakfast Kick Off Tour in Seattle
Rachel Bennett – It’s awesome to see a show stacked with all women-fronted bands; it’s even more awesome when the main opener and headliner are both Asian American women who own the hell out of the stage.

The last time Nashville grunge-punk rockers Bully were in town, it was a one-off, pseudo-announcement/showcase gig at Ballard’s Sunset Tavern to celebrate their signing to Sub Pop Records. At it, the band played mostly to new and existing fans and employees from their new label.
Stephanie Oster – Insane expectations are reasonable when it comes to Dennis Lyxzén. The performer, known for his work in influential post punk bands The Refused and International Noise Conspiracy, is the lead singer for INVSN, which also features INC’s Sara Almgren on guitar.
Maurice Harnsberry – Big Boi, half of legendary hip-hop group Outkast, performed live at Seattle’s Showbox Theater on Jan. 10, 2018.
Rachel Bennett – Something fantastic about Kyle Craft is that his recorded work and his live performances sound comparable, meaning listeners will rarely be disappointed. In both cases the music is strong and raw; Craft’s voice belts above twangy guitar riffs and catchy piano chords with beautiful inhibition and charismatic energy.
