Tori Dickson – The doors opened a little late and, once inside, people were anxious for the show to start. Eavesdropping on the conversations around me, everyone was asking the same question: “when do we get to see the Allah-Lahs?”
Leah Brezinksi – Thirteen year-old me loved Weezer SO MUCH. 23 year-old me still loved them, got the album autographed at Tower Records, adopted “El Scorcho” as her college anthem.
Justin Jensen – Opening act T.O.M. And His Computer performed for only 30 minutes, but served as a welcome refresher for what fans have come to expect from a Trentemøller show. First haunting synth, reminiscent of the Theremin, and then comes the spine-tingling bass line.
T. Monte – If you cook ramen on the stove-top, that’s just enough time to run this album once through. 22 minutes and some change. Well-captured with a clean recording, ten songs are crammed with in-your-face vocals backed to stiletto guitar riffs and a pounding, relentless beat.
Cody Johnson – Mistakenly touted as alt-country, London trio Bear’s Den recently roamed state-side in support of their debut album Islands.
