Sybil Rohlf – On Saturday Matt and I took the girls to Bumbershoot, Seattle’s yearly music festival. I hadn’t been since Iris, now four, was just over a year old. I don’t even remember who we saw that year, only one performance, but we had a hell of a time getting home on several different buses in the pouring rain.
Ben Allen – I arrived at around 2:30 p.m. to a large line at the gates. This was to be a reoccurring theme of the day. This year more than ever, Bumbershoot resembled Disneyland with clusterfucks of people everywhere.
Ryan Wines – There aren’t many bands in P-town these days with more buzz than The Builders and the Butchers.
August Hanson – My first time out to see Pela in Seattle, they didn’t make it. The lead singer fell off the stage during a performance in Chicago and sliced a tendon in his hand.
