Hey kids! We’re pleased as punch to inform you that, throughout The Capitol Hill Block Party (CHBP), NadaMucho.com is paying tribute to the iconic festival with a free photo exhibit and daily live performances at Everyday Music, just outside the festival’s gates.
Andy Bookwalter – Oh Sasquatch, you’re really pushing your luck. 21 Pilots? 21 Pilots? Saturday’s headliner at the yearly gathering of forward-thinking musicians appears to be a band that 90 percent of their fans will need a ride from their Moms to see, and the Gorge is a hell of a drive from the Power 93.3 (Seattle’s New #1 For Hit Music!) listening area, but who knows? Maybe if I just give them a chance they’ll turn out to be geniuses?
Paul Stinson – Playing to six people at SXSW or two-hundred at a record release kickoff, Austin’s XETAS’ brisk arsenal of melodic punk rock anvils fall just as a hard. Those anvils are now headed across America, including a May 11 at Seattle’s Funhouse.
Big BLDG bash – the yearly festival that’s gone down the last three years in a big green warehouse underneath where 99 meets the West Seattle bridge – today announced the lineup for their 2017 event. Things go down on Saturday, June 3 from 3 p.m. until sometime the next morning.
