Tonight at Substation, a DIY space turned venue nestled cozily between Fremont and Ballard, NadaMucho.com Contributor Tim Basaraba will host the 69th installment of his wildly unpopular acoustic music series called TBASA’s Lof-Fi All-Stars.
Last weekend, the fourth annual Summit Block Party took a step into adulthood, pulling off it’s first city-approved DIY music and arts extravaganza in the middle of Summit Ave between Olive and Howell Street on Capitol Hill.
Graham Isaac – Seattle’s Kinski are, in many ways, a rock band’s rock band. If that sounds like faint praise, it shouldn’t; over the course of eight full lengths and multiple EPs and splits, they’ve burnt themselves a clearing that’s surrounded by blown out fuzz, soaring psychedelia, crisp atmospherics, and motorik rhythms.
