Last year, NadaMucho.com Contributor Sam Hardy caught Detroit-based indie pop outfit Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. opening for Atlas Genius at the Neptune Theater. He raved about the band so much that we decided to send a photographer to capture their show at the Tractor Tavern earlier this month.
Aino Vaino – There are times when I like going into an album blind, strictly looking for a good time. Hour of the Dawn from La Sera does not disappoint this aspiration.
Sam Hardy – If you didn’t see Detroit-based indie pop outfit Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. open for Atlas Genius at the Neptune Theater a year ago, then you weren’t on the dance floor.
Andy Bookwalter – The guy who designed the Ballard Blocks “retail and commerce center” in one of Seattle’s oldest neighborhoods wanted to draw a big rectangle with a Trader Joes crammed inside it but Edith Macefield didn’t want to move, and NO ONE wins a game of real estate chicken with an 80 year old woman.
