Matt Ashworth – Whether it’s food, sweets, booze or television, the holidays are a perfect time to binge, so December 23 seemed like a great day to share a list of our contributors’ favorite television programs of 2014.
Matt Ashworth – Though we haven’t consistently written about movies for a decade, I still ask contributors to share their favorites each year. It’s like having a super smart, diverse group of people as a personal focus group when you’re loading up your Netflix and Amazon Prime queues for the next few years.
Marco Collins – 2014 was a fantastic year for Seattle records (and sports teams), but I managed to narrow my yearly list down to the 35 great local recordings. This year I decided to include EPs because so many important releases only had 4-6 songs.
