AJ Dent – MUNYA, the solo project of Josianne Boivin, eased the crowd into a romantic set with warm synth winds. The Montreal-based artist beamed beneath magenta lights, giddy and confident as she strolled from her keys to guitar and back again.
Maurice Harnsberry – Rapper G Herbo from Chicago came to Seattle last month and straight SHUT IT DOWN for his “Swervo” tour, peforming such hits as “I’m Rollin,” “Gang Bangin” and “Kill Shit.”
Maurice Harnsberry – Rising alt R&B sensation Kali Uchis came to Seattle and tore the roof off of the Showbox SoDo last month. The fans went wild, singing word for word as she performed songs off her Isolation album like “After The Storm” and “Dead to Me.”
Maurice Harnsberry – Dom Kennedy is currently on his “Win or Lose” Tour and his stop in Seattle was a memorable one that saw the LA rapper perform classic tracks from The Yellow Album, 25th Hour Album, and much more. Watching him perform from the photo pit at a packed Neptune Theater was a cool experience.
Eric Tra – Once in a while a live show makes you feel things you never thought you could. Phoebe Bridgers’ and Julien Baker’s co-headlining performance featuring Lucy Dacus at the Moore Theatre was that show. The show featured 4 sets, one for each artist, and a very special encore performance by boygenius.
