Victoria Holt – A dreamy, billowing white-fabric-clad stage was bathed in light Friday night at the Paramount, as the opening sleepy synths of “Send to Robyn Immediately” hummed into life. The band laid the foundations of the hypnotic beat as Swedish singer and producer Robyn’s vocals sounded from somewhere offstage.
Eric Tra – Psych rockers Sunflower Bean performed for a sold out show at Seattle’s Moore Theatre earlier this month as the openers for Interpol’s “Marauder” tour. The New York three piece played a nine-song set that featured their recent four track EP King of the Dudes in its entirety as well as songs from their previous albums Twentytwo in Blue, Human Ceremony and a track (“Tame Impala”) off of their 2015 EP Show Me Your Seven Secrets.
Rachel Bennett – Tulsa band BRONCHO recently played the Tractor Tavern with support from Seattle’s Oh, Rose, and LA garage rock band Pinky Pinky who were a fantastic added bonus to the night’s show.
Eric Tra – Psych-pop rockers Sunflower Bean are back on tour packing new dance-worthy tunes from their latest EP, King of the Dudes. The four song release features an array of musical styles ranging from classic rock to pop-funk rock and even good old fashioned punk rock, resulting in a modern homage to the predominate styles of the 70’s and 80’s.
