Aarin Wright – Lush psychedelic folk songs, riveting guitar solos and tiny frisbee jokes awaited attendees at the Sunset Tavern on March 26, 2019. Headliners Hand Habits, led by creator Meg Duffy, treated the sold-out crowd to a moving 12-track set, the majority of tunes pulled from their newest record, placeholder.
Aarin Wright – The threat of snow would not obstruct Seattle from an Y La Bamba performance again. After rescheduling the original Feb. 10 date due to Snowmageddon 2019, a parka-clad crowd braved the cold to cram into a sold out Tractor Tavern on Wednesday, Mar. 6.
Eric Tra – Once in a while you stumble across music that has certain infectious qualities. The kind that completely take over your body until you are possessed by the beat. Before you know it, you’re on the dance floor performing moves you never knew you had. It’s music like this that turn even the most steadfast wallflowers into dancing kings and queens before the opening track even finishes.
Eric Tra – L.A. rock trio Cherry Glazerr delivered a rocking performance to a sold out crowd at Neumos in Seattle on March 7. Their set included a heavy serving of the band’s latest album Stuffed and Ready as well as some O.G. Cherry Glazerr classics such as the dreamy, psych rock tracks “Teenage Girl” and “Grilled Cheese.”
Julia Olson – The lovely Shara Nova of My Brightest Diamond graced the Tractor Tavern on Feb. 23 with opener Ian Chang.
