Tim Basaraba – Video game movies… Ugh. Am I right? With terrible films like Sonic (2020), Warcraft (2016) and even Prince of Persia (2010) — all of which were financial successes (thanks, primarily, to non-domestic film goers) — films based on video game IP ain’t goin’ nowhere.
Tim Basaraba – Screening Anita at AMC Pacific Place did not prepare me for the festival hijinks I would encounter at the world premiere of Warm Blood on April 22 during this year’s Seattle International Film Festival. Uptown Cinema and its rickety seats felt appropriate for the independent flair of Rick Charnoski’s first feature length film and all its messy glory.

Andy Bookwalter – The Capitol Hill Block Party bookers have an amazing talent for programming three days of music performed by musicians with names I dimly recognize, if I’m lucky. I don’t think they do this on purpose to screw with Ole’ Andy, though, as that would make no sense.
